What is DaySmart Conversations AI?

DaySmart's Marketing Suite page (checked 22 October 2026) describes three tools: Conversations AI, Campaigns and a CRM. It says Conversations AI:

• answers calls and messages and books appointments 24/7
• texts back every missed call automatically
• puts phone, SMS, web chat, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and email into one shared inbox
• can be given instructions, or connected to an API, so it can check availability
• logs every call and message in the CRM (DaySmart Marketing Suite)

DaySmart's help article on the suite adds one limit: the AI Receptionist "currently supports appointment booking only", so cancellations and rescheduling aren't available yet. It's available to customers with the right subscription (DaySmart help center).

Does it work with DaySmart Salon?

DaySmart presents the Marketing Suite as part of DaySmart Appointments, and we found no mention of it on DaySmart Salon's pages. If you run DaySmart Salon, ask DaySmart directly whether Conversations AI can book into your salon calendar before you count on it.

Which other AI receptionists say they work with DaySmart?

Some AI phone tools publish DaySmart pages, such as Goodcall (Goodcall) and Kickcall, which says its DaySmart integration is custom, on request and subject to DaySmart's approval (Kickcall). Ask any vendor to show a test booking landing in your DaySmart calendar first.

What should you check in any AI receptionist?

• Does it book during the call? Some send a link instead.
• Can it book a named stylist or provider? Regulars usually want their own.
• Can it take a deposit on the call?
• What happens when a caller wants a person? Look for a live transfer or a message your team can act on.
• Which hours does it cover? Evenings and weekends are when many calls go unanswered.
