• recognizes returning clients, finds available appointments and books them directly in SalonBiz (SalonBiz)
• lets clients reschedule, confirm or cancel appointments, and processes cancellations according to your salon's cancellation policies
• creates an account for a new client and helps them book their first appointment
• handles appointment requests after hours, and takes the call when a client is running late and lets your team know
• transfers calls to your front desk when a client needs personal help, or flags them for follow-up
• keeps a record of every interaction in the Brook Dashboard, with transcripts, a Follow-ups section and analytics on calls and bookings

What should you check before you switch it on?

• Named stylist and service length. Call it as a client would and ask for a specific stylist and a longer service, such as a color and cut.
• Consultations and new clients. Check how it handles services that need a consultation or patch test first.
• Transfers. Set up the separate number you need to receive transferred calls, and decide what happens after hours.
• Texts. Ask whether your plan covers texts as well as calls, and from which number texts are sent.
• Follow-up. Decide who checks the Follow-ups list each morning.
