What does DaySmart Pet offer for calls and messages?

DaySmart Pet runs scheduling, client and pet records and payments for groomers and pet businesses. Its communications page lists (DaySmart Pet):

• Text and email marketing with templates and automated campaigns
• Two-way texting, so you can answer appointment requests and questions by text instead of by phone
• Reputation management that sends review requests after each appointment
• A website builder where clients can book online

None of these answers a phone call and books the appointment while the caller is on the line.

What about DaySmart's AI Receptionist?

DaySmart's help center describes an AI Receptionist in the Marketing Suite for DaySmart Appointments. DaySmart says it handles phone, SMS and web chat, answers questions from your business information and books appointments, and that it "currently supports appointment booking only", so cancellations and rescheduling aren't available yet (DaySmart help center). We found no mention of it on DaySmart Pet's pages, so ask DaySmart directly whether it can book into DaySmart Pet. Which other AI receptionists say they work with DaySmart Pet?

AgentZap publishes a DaySmart Pet page saying its AI receptionist answers calls and books into DaySmart Pet (AgentZap). That is AgentZap's own claim, so ask for a test booking landing in your DaySmart Pet calendar before you sign up.

What should a groomer check?

• Does it book during the call? Some tools only take a message or send a link.
• Does it book the right length? Breed, size and coat change how long a groom takes.
• Can it book a named groomer? Regulars usually want their own.
• Can it take a deposit? Deposits cut no-shows on long appointments.
• What happens when a caller wants a person? Look for a live transfer or a message you can act on.

Not that we could find. DaySmart Pet lists text and email marketing, two-way texting, review requests and a website builder with online booking. DaySmart's AI Receptionist is sold in the Marketing Suite for DaySmart Appointments, a separate product.
