Quick answer: Partly. StyleSeat now includes Sage, an AI assistant it calls "your new receptionist". Sage replies to client messages, offers real openings, confirms bookings and messages waitlisted clients when a slot opens (StyleSeat, checked 22 Oct 2026). StyleSeat's Sage page doesn't say that Sage answers phone calls, so calls to your number still need you or a separate tool.

Sage is StyleSeat's built-in AI assistant. StyleSeat's Sage page lists the jobs it says Sage covers (StyleSeat):
StyleSeat says Sage drafts and asks before anything goes out by default, and you can let it run on its own for tasks you trust it with. It also says Sage knows only your calendar, services, prices, payments and client history on StyleSeat.
StyleSeat doesn't say so. Every example on the Sage page is a written message: DMs, texts and booking requests. "In your voice" there means your tone of writing, not a voice on the phone. StyleSeat's own guide to client texting recommends moving clients to in-app messaging so they stop using your personal number (StyleSeat blog).
That works for clients who are happy to message. Clients who still call you, and calls that come in while you're with a client, go to your phone as before. If you get many calls, ask StyleSeat directly whether call answering is planned.
Some AI phone tools publish StyleSeat pages, including Goodcall (Goodcall). These are the vendors' own claims, so ask each one to show you a test booking landing in your StyleSeat calendar before you sign up.
