Schedulicity.com now says "Schedulicity is now Vagaro" and invites businesses to start on Vagaro, with a customer quote about moving from Schedulicity to Vagaro (Schedulicity). If you still use Schedulicity, check with Vagaro what your move looks like and when.

What is Vera Receptionist?

Vera Receptionist is an AI chatbot in Connect by Vagaro (Vagaro). According to Vagaro, Vera can:

• answer questions about your hours, location, services and products
• check availability and send a link to book, reschedule or cancel
• pull up a client's upcoming appointments, classes, packages and memberships
• hand the chat to a team member when a client asks for one

Vagaro's help article says Vera replies to listing page messages and, with a Text Marketing plan, to texts (Vagaro Support). Neither page describes Vera answering voice calls.

Which AI receptionists say they work with Schedulicity?

• AgentZap says it answers calls and books into your Schedulicity calendar, including classes (AgentZap).
• Goodcall advertises an AI phone assistant for Schedulicity businesses (Goodcall).

These are the vendors' own claims. With Schedulicity moving to Vagaro, ask each vendor whether its connection still works, and for a test booking, before you sign up.

What should a Schedulicity business check?

• Will it still work after you move to Vagaro?
• Does it book during the call, or only send a link?
• Can it book a named provider and handle classes as well as appointments?
• Does it handle new-client intake, such as forms or waivers?
• What happens when a caller wants a person? Look for a live transfer or a message you can act on.
