• Online scheduling so clients can book themselves, including outside opening hours
• Automatic appointment reminders
• The Treatwell Marketplace integration, which lists your salon on Treatwell
• an online calendar, sales and inventory, client management, loyalty programmes, digital forms and reports

None of these is described as an AI that picks up an incoming call and books the appointment while the client is on the line.

Which AI receptionists say they work with Salonized?

• Loekas, a Dutch AI phone assistant, says it books appointments straight into your Salonized calendar during the call. It says it sets up the connection for each business and isn't affiliated with Salonized (Loekas).
• fonea, a Swiss AI phone assistant, lists Salonized among the salon software it integrates with (fonea).

These are the vendors' own claims. Ask each one to make a test booking that lands in your Salonized calendar before you sign up.

What should a Salonized salon check?

• Does it book during the call, or only take a callback request?
• Can it book a named stylist or therapist? Regular clients often want the same person.
• Does it know your treatment lengths and rules, such as patch tests or consultations?
• Does it speak your clients' language? Salonized is used across several European countries.
• What happens when a caller wants a person? Look for a live transfer or a message you can act on.
