SMS Program Terms and Consent
Callpad Inc.
Callpad Inc. (“Callpad”) provides an AI phone receptionist for hair and beauty salons. When you call a salon that uses Callpad, the receptionist can send you text messages about your appointment on the salon’s behalf. This page explains what those messages are, how you consent to them, and how to stop them.
Messages are sent by Callpad Inc. on behalf of the salon you called. Every message identifies the salon and Callpad.
Transactional messages about your own appointment only: booking confirmations, reminders, reschedule or cancellation notices, and a link to complete your booking. We do not send marketing or promotional messages under this program.
Consent is collected verbally during your call to the salon. Before any text is sent, the receptionist asks:
“Would it be okay if I send you a text at this number with your appointment confirmation? Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out.”
A text is only sent if you clearly agree. If you decline, no text is sent and your appointment details are confirmed on the call or by email. Consent is not a condition of booking. Calls are recorded, and your consent is logged with a timestamp against your phone number.
If you have opted out and want appointment texts again, text START to the salon’s number.
Message frequency varies, typically 1 to 3 messages per appointment.
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation text and no further messages from that number.
Reply HELP to any message, email help@callpad.ai, or contact your salon directly.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, other than service providers acting on our behalf to deliver messages.

The following is a redacted excerpt from a recorded call handled by the Callpad receptionist.
Receptionist: I’ve got you down for a haircut with Jess on Tuesday the 26th at 2pm. Would it be okay if I send you a text at this number with your appointment confirmation? Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out.
Caller: Yes, that’s fine.
Receptionist: Great, I’ll send that over now.
